CmdDist, which stands for \"Command Distributor\" takes Nagios commands and distributes it to Nagios-satellite hosts. It is written in PHP and very easy to extend.
CmdDist takes Nagios commands via HTTP request. Therefore it needs the following request variables: host and command_string.
The host is checked against an NDO, whether it is member of a satellite hostgroup, which has to be set up in the config file of CmdDist.
If a satellite host has been found CmdDist passes the command_string, by using a predefined method, to the satellite.
Configuration and extension of CmdDist are very easy.
Have fun.
